Robb Sadler MozzCat Services

Turn supplied footage into a clear, finished video

I provide practical, affordable editing for YouTube creators, podcasters, churches, nonprofits, small businesses, musicians, families, instructors, and people working with digitized home video.

Editing of supplied footage is the service. Filming and full videography are not currently offered as a standard service.

Practical Video Editing

Solid editing for everyday projects

Clean cuts, titles, branding, music, basic audio improvement, and polished delivery without high-end post-production pricing. This is a good fit when clear organization and a finished presentation matter more than advanced 3D effects or large-scale cinematic work.

Titles, Branding & Presentation

Opening and closing titles, logos, lower-thirds, speaker names, informational text, credits, contact details, simple intros and outros, and reusable branded elements.

Text is designed to stay readable over changing footage through sensible placement, outlines, or contrasting backgrounds—not elaborate motion-graphics production.

Music & Audio

Music placement and timing, fades, basic speech leveling, EQ, compression, practical noise reduction, separately recorded audio synchronization, and replacing weak camera audio when a better recording exists.

Noise, echo, clipping, and distortion cannot always be fully repaired. More involved restoration, mixing, or mastering belongs with the separate Music & Audio service.

Cutting & Arranging Footage

Remove unwanted sections, reorder or combine clips, tighten pacing, create shorter pieces, build a beginning-middle-end structure, or follow supplied timestamps.

Duration alone does not determine effort. Source-file organization, number of cuts, audio repair, graphics, captions, alternate formats, and revisions all affect scope.

Supporting Services

Useful pieces of the finished presentation

Looping Visual Backgrounds

Seamless or near-seamless loops, extended animated backgrounds, music-video and church-display backgrounds, alternate lengths, and intro or ending variants. I have created looping visuals for Hyperspectral Music.

Training & Instructional Video

Remove mistakes or pauses, add section titles, captions, key points, supplied graphics, simple transitions, magnified screen regions, and highlighted details.

Podcast Video Editing

Remove obvious unwanted sections, add intros, outros, speaker names, basic speech leveling, practical noise reduction, music, short excerpts, and YouTube-ready delivery.

Slideshows

Supplied photographs, titles, captions, music, timing, dissolves, and opening or closing screens for family, memorial, church, nonprofit, or business use.

Digitized Home-Video Editing

Remove blank sections, combine related footage, build family highlights, add dates or names, place appropriate music, and prepare copies for sharing.

Music-Video Assembly

Combine supplied footage, stills, loops, synchronized music, supplied usable lyrics, and titles for landscape or portrait delivery. I have also produced portrait-format YouTube Shorts.

Family, Event & Business Videos

Practical assembly and polish for supplied family, event, nonprofit, church, coaching, demonstration, or small-business footage.

Social Versions

Vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait or landscape excerpts with reframing and repositioned titles where needed.

Captions & Subtitles

Burned-in captions, separate SRT files, supplied transcripts, and practical correction of automated captions. Transcription scope is evaluated separately.

Featured Service

Church and Ministry Countdown Videos

Turn church, ministry, mission, or event photos into a customized countdown video. Images can transition behind a clearly visible countdown, with optional music, ministry information, Scripture, announcements, event text, and a final dissolve to the church or event logo.

A typical version begins with the visible timer, presents supplied outreach or event images with tasteful transitions, and ends on a logo or welcome screen. Landscape and loopable pre-service versions are possible where practical. Scope is quoted after reviewing the supplied material.

  • Countdown timer and supplied photos
  • Church, ministry, or event branding
  • Optional music and announcements
  • Readable information over changing images
  • Final logo or welcome screen

Basic Picture Correction

Improvement without overpromising

Basic correction may include brightness, contrast, white balance, a reasonably consistent look, cropping, reframing, simple picture-in-picture, magnified details, and straightforward overlays.

This is not high-end cinematic color grading, object removal, rotoscoping, complex compositing, advanced stabilization, heavy effects repair, or 3D work.

Edit Instructions

Plain language works

“Start when the speaker reaches the podium” or “keep the section where the dog jumps” may be enough for a few edits. For more than a few specific cuts, please provide timestamps—sometimes called an edit decision list, or EDL. A clear text list is fine.

Remove 00:04:12–00:05:05
Begin at 00:01:18
Create a clip from 00:23:10–00:25:45
Replace audio beginning at 00:12:42

Clear timestamps control editing time and make fixed-price estimates more reliable.

Pricing & Revisions

Simple edits start at $30

Projects may be hourly or fixed-price after I review the footage and requested changes. One hour of source footage might need one easy trim—or many individual decisions. File organization, cuts, audio, titles, graphics, captions, and delivery versions all matter.

Revision policy: Fixed-price projects normally include two revision rounds, each submitted as one consolidated list. Additional revisions are billed hourly by agreement. A new structure, creative direction, or target format may require a revised quote.

Social Versions & Captions

Alternate formats are often separate edits

Vertical or square versions may require reframing, cropping, shortening, repositioning text, or changing the edit. Clear instructions are needed, and these versions may be priced separately from the main landscape video.

Captions may be burned in or delivered as an SRT file. Supplied transcripts help; automated transcription still requires review and cannot be promised as perfect.

Delivery

Ready for the intended destination

Standard delivery is normally an H.264 MP4 at a resolution appropriate to the source and destination—YouTube, website, presentation, or family sharing.

A higher-quality master can be supplied when appropriate. Depending on compatibility and future editing needs, that may be a high-bitrate H.264 MP4, compatible H.265 MP4, DNxHR MOV/MXF, or requested supported ProRes MOV. For many clients, a high-quality MP4 is the most practical archive copy.

Project files are available only by special agreement because they may depend on source paths, fonts, application versions, effects, plug-ins, and external media.

Transfer & Retention

Share links, not website uploads

Supply source footage through a client-controlled Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, WeTransfer, or other agreed link. Finished files are returned through an agreed shared link.

Completed deliverables remain available for at least 60 days after final delivery. Working project files may be retained for up to 12 months as a courtesy. MozzCat does not provide permanent source storage; clients are responsible for downloading and maintaining their complete archive.

Experience & Tools

Specific capabilities, applied practically

My work includes Hyperspectral Music visual loops, a portrait-format YouTube Short, magnified screen details in DaVinci Resolve, readable bordered text, presentation-audio alignment, timestamp-driven edits from long recordings, smooth transitions, intros, outros, background music, and online-ready exports.

I use DaVinci Resolve, Shotcut, FFmpeg, and related media utilities according to the project.

Working With Older Recordings?

Digitize first, then shape the story

Working with VHS, Hi8, DVD, or other older recordings? Start with Video Digitization, then add editing if you want a shorter, organized, combined, or titled version.

Tell Me About Your Video

Send a description of the footage, what you want removed or added, and how the finished video will be used. A shareable sample or file link helps me recommend the right next step.
